Trapping body heat, the glove keeps hands warm as you run. Having bought a pair for myself, I can honestly say that they work. However, being constructed very thin, the gloves may take a few minutes to warm your hands in colder temperatures as they work off of body heat and not shear climate protection that a thick traditional winter glove may give. Other features include a reflective pattern offering more visibility for those runs in the early morning or late evening.
